
Musical genius and filmmaker Quincy Jones was recognized by the Abu Dhabi Culture and Arts group in collaboration with Berklee Abu Dhabi. Jones, who has created over 2,900 cinematic, television, and musical works, has received 28 Grammy Awards, Emmys, Tonys, and an Oscar. His art is recognized as inspiring and will remain a legacy for future generations.
At the event, leaders of culture and music highlighted their admiration for Jones's achievements and his contribution to global art. Among the speakers were the general director of Crescent Enterprises and longtime friend of Jones, as well as his partner in several artistic projects, Badr Jafar, deputy president and executive director of Berklee College of Music Ron Savidge, and others.
